Father O’Malley’s Picks of the Week! – Week 10
A Friend of the Clergy
Father O’Malley was feeling pretty good after his performance last weekend. Father O’Malley is ready to get week 10 of college football underneath his belt and finally go 5 for 5 and achieve perfection!
Week 10 Picks
Game 1
LSU vs. Alabama (3:30 PM Kickoff), Tuscaloosa, AL
Father O says: The Tide are about to roll themselves into the loss column for the first time since getting beaten within an inch of there pathetic hillbilly lives against Utah. LSU is hungry for another Alabama beat down and I believe the last time LSU beat Alabama it was at Bryant-Denny? Alabama goes down, and knocks themselves out of the National title race! LSU wins, 24-21.
Game 2
Ohio State vs. Penn State (3:30 PM Kickoff), State College, PA
Father O says: This is going to be yet another Big Ten thriller… whooo hooo, I can’t wait… you should hear the excitement in my voice right now. Penn State is the typical over-rated Big Ten team. They play a bunch of nobodies, and when they finally play a team that isn’t half bad, they get embarrassed…Oh wait that kind of sound like Ohio State too? Funny how that worked out, two Big Ten teams that are extremely over-rated playing one another, ha! To follow in the spirit of upset extravaganza weekend, I’m taking OH-IO, because they SU-CK just a little bit less than Penn State and the geriatrics that are running the show in State College. OSU 21-16.
Game 3
UCONN vs. Cincinnati (8:00 PM Kickoff), Cincinnati, OH
Father O says: The Huskies are coming to Cincinnati and are ready to square off with the Bearcats. UCONN has lost two very close games that past two weeks, while Cincy has experienced huge wins. Cincinnati is a good team, but this is that special time of year when good teams get complacent and lose games that they shouldn’t. This is going to be one of those games. UCONN wins a close one, 17-16.
Game 4
USC vs. Arizona State (8:00 PM Kickoff), Tempe, AZ
Father O says: Arizona State… upset special? Not a chance! USC wins big, 42-14.
Game 5
Oklahoma vs. Nebraska (8:00 PM Kickoff), Lincoln, NE
Father O says: Can the roller coaster disaster of a season for Oklahoma get any worse? YES, and it will Saturday night when they travel to Lincoln and get shucked by Nebraska! Nebraska wins, 28-24.
Check back on Monday for Father O’Malley’s Results!
